iPad Apps.

Photography:
I chose an application called SPPhotoFixL and beasically it's like a phtoto editor, you can touch up pictures and make them brighter or darker. This app is free! Customers have rated it with 4 stars! Pretty good.

Music:
Pandora Radio is my second app, you can get Pandora Radio on just about any device. It's basically your own personalized radio, all you have to do is type in an artist or song you want to base all of your other songs around and go. Its super easy and unless you want the pro version which isn't much different than the original it's FREE. Customers have also rated four stars for this application!:)

Games:
My favorite computer game is definitely TETRIS, so that's what I chose for this app. TETRIS is basically just a puzzle and mind game. You have to do a lot of thinking but you can have fun while you're at it. This game is only $2.99 and customers must really like it because it has four and a half stars!

Entertainment:
I decided to pick a background app for my fourth choice because I wouldn't want my iPad to be boring, I would want it to express how I am. This Background app gives you hundred and even thousands of choices to choose from and list them and different categories (cute, funny, artsy, etc.) This application is completely free and its gotten four stars also.

Social Networking:
For my final app I decided to go with Facebook. I am a Facebook addict so of course I would have to have this on my iPad list. Facebook is a place where you can connect with friends and see what and how friends are doing. It is a completely free app and it has gotten FIVE STARS! :)

Picture editing.

I used the BeFunky and PhotoFunia. I really like the Befunky site, i've actually used it outside of class before to edit my prom pictures!:)

Site for next class.

I found a really interesting site that's called Zoo Burst, basically all it is a place where you can make pop up books and it's actually really fun and creative. You need to sign up for an account and then you can make one:)
I haven't made a book yet but I have signed up.. Try it out here!

Search Engines.

Pics4Learning: I chose Pics4Learning as one of my search engines because I decided to search Spain and I have always thought that Spain was such a pretty place. On Pics4Learning it only gives you pictures of what you search which is pretty cool.

WolFram Alpha: On this site you can put in any unit conversion, demographics or you can ask about a country and it will generate as much information as it can about what ever you typed in. I thought that this site would be very helpful in the future.

Addict-O-Matic: On Addict-O-Matic all you have to type in the search box is what you want to look for, for example 'Spain' and click go and automatically everything on the web about Spain comes up; news, twitter tweets, facebook status', google blog searches, wikio, and even some videos. This site could be helpful if you wanted information quick and easy.

Google & Google Docs.

Summer '12 I am going on a trip to Spain, the wonder wheel helped me find exactly the attractions I was looking for and I plan on using it while there. It is a lot easier than clicking on different links and having to use the 'back' button.

The Google Docs is very creative and I can see myself working with it on a project for English or Biology. It could really be useful in college, if you do online stuff. All you would need was a friends email and you could swap ideas or help each other write papers.

Kerpoof! (Movie)

I didn't think it was as fun as some of the other stuff we do. It's kind of confusing and hard to get. Also, there is not a lot of scenes to choose from and the characters are a bit cheesy. Maybe some one else might enjoy it more. Try it out!

Kerpoof!

On Kerpoof you can make drawings, like I did, or books, snd even pictures. I made all of these. I thought that Kerpoof was a fun site to use and very easy. If you make an account you can save everything you make if you run out of time in the middle of a cool picture or story. Try out this site here.

Google Talk

On Google Talk you can chat with friends through video chat or call their cell phones from your computer. Google Talk is a very fun and creative way of talking to people other than writing words. If your laptop has a microphone and a camera. You can use it just about anywhere.

iGoogle

On my iGoogle homepage I added my horoscope, so I can check it anytime I get on really quick. I also added a countdown to my birthday gadget because I am super excited!:) I have tetris on my phone and I am addicted to it, so I added that game to my iGoogle also!

I also tried out the SketchFu tool and I think it is very fun and creative! I would use this tool a lot, just because I have a lot of fun doing it. When you start a new page all you do is draw whatever you want and you can replay the slide and see the exact way you drew it. You will need to set up an account but I really think everyone should GIVE IT A TRY!:)

The Flip Book tool was kind of difficult to get going for me, the page was confusing and there was a lot of ads. If you know what you're doing the site is actually pretty fun once you get going! I put together 3 pictures and made a slow slide show of those three photos I used, the site lets you put up to ten slides. If you would like to try it out CLICK HERE :)

Symbaloo.

Symbaloo is a great site to use when you just want to get to places you've already been to, quicker. It is basically a Social Bookmarking site that hold every site (If you remember to bookmark it) you go to. Try making your own Symbaloo account here.

Gadgets!

As I was looking through the gadgets I found really cool ones, like my horoscope, a calendar, and my favorite one where you can feed the fish. I added my horoscope and the fish feeding one because I felt like those are the ones I will have the most fun with and the ones I will use the most often.
By adding a gadget to your blog it makes your blog look more put together and creative than if you just have posts on it. Some of the gadgets keep you up to date on news, weather, just about anything you can think of. Some are very useful.
You can add a gadget to you blog by clicking the 'design' tab in the upper right hand corner, then when you're on your page layout click anywhere that says 'Add a Gadget', when that page opens at the top left there are about 4 tabs that have to do with gadgets. Choose anyone that you feel would help you or fascinate you, when you find one click the 'add(+)' button on the side and save it! (:

I had a lot of fun on ImageChef! There's a lot you can do on this site such as making a Word Mosaic, do something creative on Sketchpad or Poetry blender, you can even edit your own pictures of yourself or your friends on the Photo frame editor. ImageChef is very easy to use, the site gives you examples of what other users have done and allows you to really customize things to fit what you like. Word Cloud.

You can use a 'word cloud' when you are trying to be creative about your blog or when you just want to have fun. I made my word cloud on Wordle with words that I like and made my name (Bristinny) larger than all the other ones. You can make your own word cloud on Wordle by clicking here. On Wordle you can copy and paste song lyrics, famous speeches, really anything that you want. You can change the fonts, the color and even the format your words are in. The words that are used the most are automatically doubled in size so that they stick out more than the words that are mentioned once or twice. Wordle is a very creative and just fun website to use. I had a lot of fun and I really think that I will use Wordle a lot more!

An avatar is an animated character used to show others what you like or give them a brief glance of what you look like. An avatar can be used for safety reasons. If you don't feel comfortable posting a real picture of yourself you can make an avatar instead!

How do I currently use Social Media?..

When I get on the computer I automatically go to Facebook. Facebook is my life! I have it on my phone so I am on it, literally, 24/7. I also use the internet to listen to music and search lyrics to songs. I don't think I could go a day without being on the internet at least one time. I use the internet to help with a lot of my school work because it has the answers to everything.
